Whether we want to think about it or not, we all age and will die. Facing into that reality. allows up to communicate our wishes, plan for our children, estate or community and help those left behind settle our accounts/estate. While this can be intimidating, by facing it before the need arises, we are doing ourselves a favor and ensuring reduced decision making and stress when the needs become real.

It’s about time we get serious about Veterans Mental Health and the 22 suicides a day. The solutions begins by admitting there is a problem with how we “deal” with it - by actually admitting that we may be missing something important. And then by stepping up and doing our part to make ourselves available to listen, truly listen to our Veterans. We have something to learn from them and we owe it to them for putting themselves on the line for us.
